The role involves using SolidWorks to create models and drawings, translating design concepts into manufacturable products, and managing multiple projects while interfacing with vendors.

Responsibilities
Using SolidWorks to generate solid models and drawings with the input from project teams
Ability to translate design concepts into products that can be manufactured
Provide design input from prototype development thru production
Process ECN’s, RFC’s and utilize our SolidWorks PDM system
Interface with vendors to design and specify components with cost and availability in mind
Manage multiple Projects with attention to schedule requirements
Ability to communicate technical information
Clear and concise language
Drawing skills
Clear and professional emails
Qualification
Required
Strong knowledge of materials, construction techniques, and sequence of assembly
Ability to quickly identify variances and problems within the manufacturing process
Strong analytical skills
Attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast paced environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
2 years of relevant industry experience
2 years' experience with SolidWorks
Preferred
CNC/CAM programming is a plus
