Litigation Paralegal - Trial Experience

Adams & Martin Group is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to support an upcoming trial in Environmental Law. This role involves managing case files, drafting litigation documents, and collaborating with attorneys to ensure smooth trial preparation.

Responsibilities

Organize, track, and index discovery materials currently in disarray

Build and maintain clear, efficient document‑management systems-primarily via Excel

Prepare and maintain case files in coordination with in‑house and outside counsel

Draft, edit, and format litigation documents using Microsoft Office and Adobe

Prepare deposition summaries and conduct factual/legal research

Assist with exhibits, witness coordination, trial binders, and other trial‑focused tasks

Collaborate directly with outside trial counsel and internal attorneys to meet deadlines

Coordinate witness scheduling, communication, and availability

Support project management efforts around key trial milestones and timelines

Perform accurate time entry and billing support using Timeslips

Assist with general administrative and organizational tasks, ensuring smooth workflows

Required

Prior litigation experience (trial preparation experience strongly preferred)

Exceptional organizational skills with an emphasis on document control and indexing

Proficiency in: Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe, Excel (especially for tracking and indexing documents)

Preferred

Familiarity with environmental law

Experience within a small‑firm or flexible work environment

Ability to collaborate seamlessly with multiple attorneys, including external trial counsel
