Responsibilities
Supporting rate setting, waivers, SPAs, and other reimbursement needs for a set of Medicaid Programs
Perform financial analysis on assigned providers to determine payment rates
Researching, understanding, and interpreting state and federal regulations for programs
Keeping up to date with the frequent need to modify the regulations for changes to the respective programs
Comparative analysis is made with prior years’ cost information for the individual facility as well as other facilities and additionally with national and industry data
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in accounting, banking, finance, business administration, economics, or related discipline from an accredited institution and 1 year of directly related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Preferred
Knowledgeable about Medicaid/Claims
