Responsibilities
Support a comprehensive cloud operating model, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our systems, data, and services
Participate in a team of cloud engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess security requirements, applicability of new cloud capabilities, and support the cloud service catalog
Implement and maintain security controls, procedures, and standards, ensuring compliance with MetLife standards, industry regulations and best practices
Collaborate with internal stakeholders, App teams and external partners to design and implement secure cloud-based solutions that meet business objectives
Participate in regular security audits, vulnerability assessments, and penetration tests, and develop remediation plans as necessary
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field
5+ years of experience with cloud service providers such as Azure, AWS or GCP
Preferred
Familiarity with infrastructure as code and centralized management of cloud shared services
Familiarity with software development lifecycle, CI/CD pipelines, Git-based source code management systems, infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Bicep
Experience securing and managing cloud services in a highly regulated industry
