The primary purpose of this role is to develop the skills necessary to become a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator and manage the day-to-day operations of a facility in compliance with relevant regulations.

Responsibilities
Develop the knowledge, skills and ability to successfully become a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator
Direct the day-to-day functions of a facility in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern long-term care facilities
Qualification
Required
1-3 years' experience in long-term care
Bachelor's Degree
Ability to thrive in a complex environment
Ability to relate to and work with physically and/or mentally ill, disabled, elderly, emotionally upset, and at times hostile people professionally and respectfully
Ability to understand and follow regulations
Ability to adapt and handle pressure
Must be knowledgeable of nursing practices, procedures, terminology, laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to long-term care
Preferred
Experience in long-term care or related field with supervisory background
Bachelor's degree specifically in Healthcare Administration or Business Administration (or related field)
