Business Development Representative

Responsibilities
Research and identify target accounts across commercial and public sector markets
Engage prospects through outbound calls, email sequences, LinkedIn outreach, and event follow-up
Qualify inbound leads using defined criteria and convert them into sales-ready opportunities
Clearly articulate our value proposition and tailor messaging to specific personas and industry needs
Collaborate with growth managers and solution architects to hand off qualified opportunities and support growth strategies
Maintain accurate activity, lead, and opportunity data in CRM
Support campaign execution alongside marketing, including events, webinars, and content-driven outreach
Stay current on product capabilities, competitive landscape, and modernization trends
Qualification
Required
3 - 5 years of BDR/Sales Development or related experience in SaaS, cloud, data, AI, or enterprise technology
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Experience with outbound prospecting tools
Familiarity with CRM platforms such as HubSpot
Ability to quickly learn technical concepts and explain them in business language
Strong organization, follow-through, and attention to detail
Eligibility to obtain a security clearance
Must reside in one of the specified states: CA, CO, DC, FL, GA, IL, MD, NJ, NY, NC, OH, OK, PA, SC, TX, VA, WV
Authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis
Preferred
Bachelors Degree preferred
Experience selling to enterprise IT, operations, or digital transformation teams
Exposure to public sector agencies is a plus
Understanding of modernization, cloud migration, data platforms, or AI adoption trends
A track record of exceeding activity and pipeline generation goals
