Responsibilities
Write and edit press releases, media pitches, brand announcements, and campaign copy
Own and manage media lists across national, regional, and industry outlets
Research, pitch, and build relationships with journalists, editors, and media contacts
Support product launches, company announcements, and brand storytelling initiatives
Ensure all messaging aligns with brand voice, tone, and strategy
Track media coverage and outreach results
Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, and Leadership on messaging and positioning
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, English, or related field and at least two (2) years of experience in copywriting, marketing communications, or digital content creation; OR any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides knowledge, skills, and abilities
Experience writing for websites, promotions, advertising, and email marketing
Extremely organized and able to manage the logistics of multiple duties with professionalism and strong communication skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
High levels of accuracy, timeliness and dependability
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships within the organization
Ability to work effectively with all levels of employees and management
Ability to assist in providing solutions to challenges that arise
