They are seeking a highly motivated intern for a full-time 8-week summer internship in Operations, where the intern will gain hands-on experience in Packing House operations and contribute to production strategies and continuous improvement efforts.

Responsibilities
Learn and understand all aspects of the Packing House Operations from the time the fruit is received, processed, and shipped
Assist in production planning for the various departments such as presort, pack, and bagging
Work alongside various production roles including Operations Supervisors, Clerks, and Operators
Identify, develop, and support continuous improvement opportunities
Update and develop departmental SOP’s (Standard Operating Procedures)
Assist with WOW projects and identifying quick wins
Provide general administrative support to the operations team
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma/General Education Diploma and currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business, Agriculture, or related
Must be 18 years of age or older
Minimum of beginner proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Self-directed and able to work autonomously
Energetic and eager to tackle new projects and ideas
Good problem-solving skills and communication
