Business Development Intern

PowerFlex is a leading national provider of intelligent onsite energy solutions, specializing in solar, storage, EV charging, and microgrid systems. The Business Development Analyst Intern will support the origination efforts of the company by assisting in project presentations, client research, and independent research to improve services and offerings.

Responsibilities

40% - Assist in preparing project presentation materials, solar and battery financial analyses and marketing outreach materials
20% - Client research, prospect assessment and review
15% - Communicate with the Business Development team to convey research and findings
15% - Policy and public database research
10% Conduct independent research to improve our services and offerings

Required

Currently working toward a bachelor's degree in economics, government, finance, sustainability, or a related field, with an expected graduation in 2026
Motivated self-starter with good commercial perspective
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to prioritize and to work under pressure while maintaining a high attention to detail
Knowledge or coursework on environmental studies, energy economics, finance or sustainability
Confidence and initiative to take on responsibility and manage your own projects
Foundational knowledge of Excel modeling/tools creation, PowerPoint, Word and/or Salesforce
Ability to interact with and build relationships with people from different departments and levels of seniority
