Responsibilities
Manage a caseload of asbestos litigation matters on the plaintiff side
Conduct discovery, including drafting pleadings, written discovery, and motions
Take and defend depositions (fact witnesses, experts, corporate reps)
Work with medical records, exposure histories, and expert witnesses
Attend hearings, mediations, and trials as needed
Collaborate with partners and litigation teams to develop case strategy
Maintain regular communication with clients and their families
Qualification
Required
J.D. from an accredited law school
Active bar admission in [State] (or ability to waive in)
Prior plaintiff-side asbestos or toxic tort litigation experience strongly preferred
Trial experience or trial exposure is a plus
Strong writing, analytical, and advocacy skills
Ability to manage deadlines and work independently while contributing to a team
Preferred
3+ years preferred, but flexible for strong candidates
