They are seeking a highly motivated intern for a summer internship to gain hands-on experience in Food Safety and Quality Control, supporting the QC team and maintaining food safety practices.

Responsibilities
Gain understanding of Food Safety regulations and Quality Control standards
Maintain and track records to ensure food safety practices are adhered to
Support the QC team in inspecting products to ensure compliance with company standards and specifications
Help collect, analyze, and interpret data related to food safety trends and incidents, identifying areas for improvement
Accurately document quality checks and inspections, maintaining up-to-date records of findings and reports
Identify, develop, and support continuous improvement opportunities
Update and develop departmental SOP’s (Standard Operating Procedures)
Assist with WOW projects and identifying quick wins
Provide general administrative support to the Food Safety and QC team
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma/General Education Diploma and currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Food Safety/Science, or related
Must be 18 years of age or older
Minimum of beginner proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Self-directed and able to work autonomously
Energetic and eager to tackle new projects and ideas
