Responsibilities
Develop cloud-based third-party integrations using the in-vehicle applets framework
Integrate external cloud APIs such as music, navigation, weather, payments, and voice services
Bridge cloud backends and in-vehicle applets to deliver secure, low-latency features
Design and implement:
Data synchronization pipelines
Authentication and token management flows
OTA-aware service integrations
Build Android Automotive services, apps, or SDK components that expose cloud features safely to in-vehicle applications
Contribute to the in-vehicle framework/SDK that enables other teams to onboard new cloud services in a controlled, certifiable manner
Qualification
Required
Backend, Cloud & API Integration
Strong experience designing and integrating RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs
Deep understanding of authentication and authorization mechanisms: OAuth 2.0, JWT
Proficiency with structured data formats: JSON, Protobuf
Experience integrating third-party SDKs and managing full API lifecycle
Solid understanding of cloud-to-vehicle communication patterns: MQTT, WebSocket, HTTP / HTTPS
