Business Analyst - Group Insurance Product & Underwriting.

Responsibilities
Collaborate with senior analysts and stakeholders to gather, assess, and document business needs for sales enablement, underwriting, and quoting processes
Create mockups, wireframes, or visual aids to demonstrate requirements and proposed solutions
Map current and future state processes and integrations using tools such as Miro or Visio
Facilitate workshops and meetings to clarify requirements, document feedback, and build consensus
Drive stakeholder buy-in on requirements and document decisions for traceability and change control
Contribute ideas to streamline workflows and enhance operational efficiency
Support initiatives that leverage customer insights to improve or redesign the current experience
Participate actively in Agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives)
Work closely with the PO to ensure changes are effectively controlled, communicated, and implemented
Support test planning, execution, and documentation to ensure delivered solutions meet business needs
Assist with project activities such as meeting scheduling, task tracking, and status reporting
Qualification
Required
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to facilitate meetings, workshops, and collaborative sessions to drive requirements clarity and alignment
Experience or aptitude in creating mockups, wireframes, or process maps
Interest in learning business analysis, Agile practices, and process documentation
Organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work collaboratively, take direction, and develop new skills in a team environment
Preferred
Bachelor's degree (or progress toward degree) in Business, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field
Exposure to or experience in Underwriting, Group Insurance, or Quoting processes
Internship or coursework related to business analysis or insurance is a plus
Familiarity with Agile methodologies is helpful but not required
Miro or Visio (for process mapping and visual design)
JIRA or RALLY or COPADO (for Agile project tracking)
Excel and Word (for documentation and reporting)
