Four Inc. is a fast-growing public sector IT provider seeking an Associate Solutions Architect Intern to support technical and operational initiatives across the organization. This internship will provide hands-on exposure to solution architecture, cloud and infrastructure concepts, and customer-focused technical work.

Responsibilities

Participate in a structured training and mentorship program to develop foundational knowledge in cloud, infrastructure, and solution architecture

Learn how to evaluate customer or internal technical requirements and assist in shaping appropriate solution approaches

Provide support during solution design discussions and customer-facing engagements

Contribute to a hands-on technical project, applying architectural concepts and industry best practices

Develop written and verbal communication skills by presenting technical ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences

Required

Currently enrolled in, or recently graduated from, a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field

Experience with at least one modern programming language (e.g., Python, Java, C++, JavaScript)

Foundational knowledge of IT systems, software development, or infrastructure and architecture concepts

Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines

Attention to detail and willingness to learn

Preferred

Curiosity and willingness to learn new technologies in a fast-moving environment

Exposure to networking, security, storage, databases, or operating systems through coursework, labs, internships, or personal projects

Experience with technical projects, internships, or lab environments is a plus
