Team Lead - Rigid Assembly (2nd Shift)

Responsibilities

Provides daily direction and leadership to the section team members
Understands and adheres to FMH Conveyors Company handbook
Understands and adheres to section policies and procedures
Must have the ability to perform activities utilizing all machinery and equipment in the assigned section
Promotes continual improvement within the department and the company
Must have the ability to examine items produced to determine if items meet specifications
Follows documented manufacturing/assembly processes using the operations procedures
Recommends measures to improve section production methods and effectiveness of section
Coordinates daily/weekly/monthly provided schedule to meet delivery demands
Monitors the quality, quantity, and efficiency of products produced
Maintains working collaborative relationships with the team members and is focused on producing excellent products safely and on time
Works with each associate in the section to provide the opportunity for each to be cross-trained and to meet other training opportunities
Ensures that daily goals are met and sustained daily/weekly/monthly
Observes safety and security procedures; Uses equipment and materials properly; Reports potentially unsafe conditions
