The technician will diagnose, repair, and maintain machinery while contributing to customer satisfaction and the efficiency of rental operations.

Responsibilities
Perform detailed inspections and diagnostics on equipment to identify issues
Conduct repairs and maintenance tasks including mechanical, electrical, hydraulic maintenance and assist other equipment mechanics with general shop and equipment maintenance as directed
Create and maintain work orders for all service activities. Maintain accurate service records and documentation for all equipment serviced, ensuring compliance with company and regulatory standards
Communicate effectively with service managers to prioritize repair schedules and equipment availability
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent
Proven experience as a service technician or mechanic, preferably in rental equipment or heavy machinery
Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
Must have good interpersonal skills, own adequate hand tools and have the ability to work well with others and independently
Preferred
Technical certification or vocational training in diesel mechanics, heavy equipment repair, or a related field
Experience working with rental or leasing equipment in a service capacity
