Responsibilities
Architect scalable software engineering solutions within the C3 AI platform
Design, build, and deliver tools and frameworks that automate data quality analysis
Integrate Agentic AI capabilities into Groundswell apps and tools
Collaborate with data scientists to implement AI agents
Build scalable tools enabling improved developer workflows, testing, and release processes
Enhance engineering and code quality best practices company wide
Develop visual tools to provide visibility into code quality, test coverage, and engineering metrics
Oversee RMF process to achieve ATO
Work closely with product, UX, front-end, and back-end engineers
Fix bugs, solve problems, and improve products proactively
Mentor junior engineers and support team growth
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field; Master of Science Degree preferred
5+ years of software development experience
5+ years of software development experience with Python and JavaScript
Proven experience in design and development of full-stack web solutions
Solid knowledge of OOP, data structures, algorithms, and web development
Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Redux, Vue, Angular, etc.)
Experience with machine learning, including deep learning algorithms
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Active Secret clearance required at time of hire. The selected candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI clearance and complete a CI polygraph in accordance with contract requirements
Must be local to the DC Metro area and able to be on-site 3-4 days a week
Preferred
Advanced degree in engineering or related field
Knowledge of distributed systems, TDD, SQL/NoSQL databases, and performance optimization
Experience leading engineering teams and projects
Experience with C3 AI platform preferred
