Responsibilities

Regularly attend Church Services and Bible Study
Supports church in financial endeavors (tithes and offerings, etc.)
Be early and prepared for all scheduled and vital meetings
Establish and foster exemplary relationships with 1st Family, Staff/non-staff workers, church membership, business partners, and the community
Perform other duties as assigned, including by the Senior Pastor
Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing and communication strategy aligned with The Church’s vision, mission, and values
Strengthen and maintain the church experience branding across all platforms
Develop campaigns for church growth, engagement, and community outreach
Ensure consistent messaging across all communication channels
Oversee internal communication strategies to improve engagement among staff, leadership, and congregation members
Craft and distribute newsletters, press releases, and official church communications
Manage all crisis communication and reputation management efforts
Serve as the primary media contact and spokesperson for The Church
Develop and implement promotional strategies for church events, services, and community initiatives
Coordinate marketing materials, digital advertisements, and media outreach for major church events
Ensure brand alignment and messaging consistency across all church-sponsored events
Lead the development and execution of a robust digital marketing strategy, including website management, SEO, and paid media campaigns
Oversee the church’s social media presence and engagement strategies
Design and execute targeted email marketing campaigns for congregation engagement, donor relations, and event promotions
Oversee the development of multimedia content (graphics, video, and photography) to enhance storytelling and engagement
Build relationships with local, regional, and national media to enhance The Church’s visibility
Develop strategic partnerships with community organizations, influencers, and faith-based networks
Collaborate with ministry leaders to amplify community impact initiatives
Oversee the production and distribution of church podcasts and digital storytelling initiatives
Ensure high-quality, engaging content that aligns with The Church’s mission
Track and analyze the effectiveness of communication strategies and campaigns
Provide monthly reports on engagement metrics, social media impact, email performance, and overall communications performance
Adjust marketing strategies based on data-driven insights

Required

Requires a bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
Must have 5-7 years of progressive experience in marketing, preferably in a faith-based or nonprofit organization
Must have experience in crisis communication and reputation management
Must demonstrate excellent customer service skills at all times
Must possess the following skills: excellent storytelling, writing, and public speaking skills; strong leadership and team management experience; highly organized and detail-oriented, strategic planning, multitasking, time management, project management, and proficiency in digital marketing tools, analytics, social media platforms, and email marketing software
Must demonstrate the ability to receive instruction, interpret it, develop a plan of action, and communicate to necessary parties
A self-motivated person who can effectively work independently without supervision and produce results
A mission-driven person with a passion for social impact and equity
A value innovative thinker with the ability to drive change and achieve results
Must demonstrate agility, adaptability, and a high capacity to solve problems in a high capacity work environment
