Operations Manager

Bradford White is seeking an Operations Manager for their FloLogic location in Morrisville, NC. This key leadership role is responsible for overseeing and optimizing day-to-day operations, ensuring operational excellence across various functions including production, materials management, and customer support.

Responsibilities

Direct and oversee daily operations across production, materials, shipping and receiving, customer support, repair/returns, and quality functions
Ensure alignment of operational activities with company goals and growth objectives
Plan, coordinate, and optimize production schedules to meet customer demand
Oversee procurement, inventory, and logistics to ensure on-time availability of materials and components
Manage shipping and receiving operations, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with all carrier, safety, and regulatory requirements
Implement efficient material flow and cost-control measures
Lead the customer support and service teams to deliver superior customer experience
Establish performance metrics, service level agreements (SLAs), and continuous improvement programs
Manage repair and return processes to ensure fast turnaround and customer satisfaction
Oversee quality control and assurance programs to maintain high product reliability and compliance with standards
Drive root cause analysis and corrective action initiatives
Develop and implement operational strategies to support rapid growth
Introduce process automation, best practices, and lean methodologies to enhance productivity and reduce costs
Partner cross-functionally with engineering, sales, and finance to support new product introductions and scaling initiatives
Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing operations team
Establish clear performance goals, accountability frameworks, and professional development opportunities
Foster a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement

Required

Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred
8+ years of progressive leadership experience in operations, including production, materials management, and logistics, preferably in a high-growth manufacturing or technology environment
Proven track record of scaling operational teams and processes
Proficiency with Microsoft 365 programs required
Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Preferred

MBA or advanced degree
Experience with Oracle systems preferred
Experience with ERP/MRP systems, Lean/Six Sigma methodologies, and KPI-driven management
