The EH&S Intern will assist in executing procedures and training related to environmental health and safety regulations, conduct inspections and audits, and create internal reports for leadership review.

Responsibilities

You will assist in executing procedures, EH&S training and communications on subjects required by regulations such as confined space, respiratory protection, compressed gases, electrical safety, ergonomics, etc
You will review performance against company and regulatory requirements and raise potential non-conformance issues
You will complete multimedia EH&S risk assessments
You will conduct regulatory required inspections and audits as needed
You will create internal KPI metric reports for leadership review

Required

Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor's or advanced degree in an applicable discipline
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract

Preferred

Microsoft Office Suite products, especially Excel
Rising junior or rising senior
Environmental/Health/Safety major – environmental science, environmental engineering, natural resources, health and safety management, etc
