The intern will work collaboratively with statisticians and stakeholders to utilize machine learning and AI techniques for developing an analyses toolbox using their clinical database.

Literature review
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to understand project requirements and objectives
Explore and analyze the clinical database to identify relevant data for the project
Implement machine learning algorithms and AI techniques to develop models
Develop a user-friendly analysis toolbox
Present to statistical staff or general audience on AI related topics and the tasks accomplished during internship
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled students with adequate coursework and excellent grades in quantitative and computational sciences towards B.S. degree
Effective oral and written communication skills
Experiences with machine learning and AI techniques through projects or course work
Computer Skills: R, Python, JAVA, or C++
Preferred
Majors in Statistics, Biostatistics, Mathematics or Computer Science are preferred
