Senior Product Marketing Lead

They are seeking a Senior Product Marketing Lead to serve as a technical authority and storyteller, focusing on creating high-impact content and leading content strategy in the cybersecurity domain.

Responsibilities
Author high-impact technical content including blogs, white papers, solution briefs, and technical explainers
Define RapidFort’s point of view on software supply chain risk, container security, CVE remediation, SBOM/RBOM, and runtime hardening
Translate complex security concepts into clear, opinionated, and credible narratives
Lead content strategy for software supply chain and container security topics
Support product launches, GTM initiatives, and competitive positioning with differentiated messaging
Develop cornerstone content that can be reused across web, sales, analyst, and field marketing channels
Partner closely with engineering, security research, and product leaders to ensure technical accuracy and depth
Act as a bridge between deeply technical teams and external audiences
Interview internal and external subject-matter experts and turn insights into compelling content
Analyze industry trends, threat reports, and competitor messaging (e.g., scanners vs. remediation-first platforms)
Produce content that clearly differentiates RapidFort as an end-to-end software supply chain security platform
Contribute to analyst briefings, webinars, conference talks, and executive presentations
Qualification
Required
7+ years of experience in cybersecurity content, technical marketing, security research, or developer-focused writing
Deep expertise in software supply chain security and container security
Strong understanding of: Container images, registries, and runtimes (Docker, Kubernetes, OCI)
Strong understanding of: Vulnerability management, CVEs, attack surface reduction, and image hardening
Strong understanding of: SBOMs, dependency risk, and supply chain threats
Strong understanding of: CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices
Proven ability to produce authoritative, technically rigorous content for expert audiences
U.S. Citizenship and eligibility for federal programs is required
Must provide a portfolio or sample work demonstrating prior content in the cybersecurity domain, ideally focused on container security, Kubernetes, or software supply chain security
Preferred
Hands-on experience as a security engineer, DevSecOps engineer, or platform engineer
Familiarity with compliance and regulatory frameworks (FedRAMP, CMMC, NIST, SOC 2)
Experience contributing to industry publications
Background in competitive analysis or analyst relations content
Active or previously held U.S. security clearance (Secret or Top Secret) is a strong advantage
Experience speaking at conferences, webinars, or contributing to industry publications
