Responsibilities
Work on several "clean-sheet" R&D projects at a time
Use statics, dynamics, fluid flow, heat transfer, materials, and mechanical design to develop fabrication processes and design, build, and test experimental hardware, working prototypes, and specialized products
Qualification
Required
5+ years of mechanical engineering design experience in industry
excellent academic credentials (BSME or MSME)
ability to design for a wide range of fabrication processes
capabilities in FEM and CAD
excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and communication
U.S. Citizens or U.S. Permanent Residents only
Preferred
P.E. licensure is a plus but not required
knowledge and background in materials and structural engineering
strong analysis skills
