Responsibilities

Evaluate the business and financial profile of potential acquisition opportunities that are aligned with our strategic objectives
Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and industry benchmarking to support deal rationale
Analyze historical and projected financial and operational performance of targets
Build and maintain financial models to evaluate acquisition opportunities, including scenario planning, synergy analysis, valuation and comparable company analysis
Perform financial due diligence and summarize findings for executive decision-making
Assist in the preparation of internal presentations and Board materials
Support negotiation processes through preparation for meetings with sellers and external advisors
Collaborate with post-deal integration teams to ensure smooth onboarding of acquired entities

Required

BS/BA/MS degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related field
Experience with financial modeling and data analysis required
Advanced proficiency in Excel
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
We require the ability to pass a drug screen and background checks. Candidates must have the ability to perform the requirements of the job with or without accommodations
Must be local to the Atlanta metro area or willing to self-relocate to the area

Preferred

Big 4 accounting experience
MBA, CPA, or CFA
Experience in a service-based industry (e.g., professional services, healthcare, education, business services)
