Responsibilities
Coordinate and manage all research activities as part of the research team
Participate in study start-up, patient recruitment and enrollment
Data collection, source documentation, quality assurance, regulatory submissions, and protocol dissemination
Collect and submit study data and monitor study compliance
Function as an integral part of the research and care teams
Prepare, submit, and monitor documentation of research studies
Ensure compliance with regulations and protocols
Guarantee a smooth flow through the outreach, consenting and specimen collection processes
Resolve participant questions or follow-up needs
Perform assigned clerical and technical duties
Schedule participants, consent participants, escort patients, complete study assessments, and complete study visit data entry
Support the implementation and maintenance of department projects
Make strong decisions and apply federal and state regulations to various situations
Qualification
Required
Must have working-level knowledge of the English language, including reading, writing, and speaking English
One year of clinical, research, regulatory, and/or data management experience required
Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative (CITI) Training required within 30 days of hire date
Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel and Word
Must possess abilities to navigate and document within medical record systems
Preferred
High School Graduate or equivalent preferred
Previous experience with patient care and/or research protocols also preferred
