Assist the client in executing the yearly budget strategy by minimizing risk and identifying opportunities
Qualification
Required
This is a hybrid position based in Warren, Michigan – required to be in office 3 days a week. Local travel may be required
Knowledge of procedural controls and data validation techniques required
Strong knowledge of the MS Office suite, including Word and PowerPoint; MS Excel proficiency is a must (examples: VLOOKUP, Macros, PivotTables); Power BI and Excel Power Query are a plus
Demonstrated experience, interest, and aptitude in business, technology, and analytics
Understanding of financial and budget compliance concepts; SAP/ARIBA experience is a plus
Financial reporting/forecasting experience
Financial modeling expertise is a plus
Proven written and oral communication skills
Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and a strong record of leadership in a work setting or team environment
Experience applying strong organizational skills in a matrixed environment
Maturity, professionalism, and a high level of discretion are required
Strong work ethic with a positive, can‑do attitude
Independent worker and analytical thinker with the ability to conduct research, analyze data, and resolve complex problems
Strong presence with the ability to interact with multiple levels of leadership
Ability to work cross‑functionally with a variety of stakeholders to identify solutions
Bachelor's degree—degrees in information systems, computer science, finance, or business administration are desirable, but all disciplines will be considered
