Human Resources Coordinator
Albuquerque Academy is seeking a Human Resources Coordinator to serve as the liaison for the Think Academy Auxiliary Programs. This role involves staffing coordination, employee relations, and administrative support to the CFO, while ensuring compliance with HR policies and supporting summer program activities.

Responsibilities
Serve as TAAP’s faculty member and student employee point of contact
Work collaboratively with the Human Resources Director, Think Summer administrative team, and auxiliary program directors to develop sound practices and policies in matters impacting summer and auxiliary staff
Liaison with Albuquerque Academy Human Resources department for TAAP staffing issues
Conduct onboarding and employment training for Think Summer Orientation and other auxiliary programs as needed with coordination and help from the Human Resources Director and program staff
Maintain employee desk and personnel files in compliance with Albuquerque Academy’s file maintenance
Work with Human Resources Director, program staff (i.e. principals, program administrators), and TAAP Director to coordinate employee relations issues, disciplinary actions, leaves of absence and other human resources actions
Maintain auxiliary program handbooks to be in accordance with main campus policies
Participate in planning for Think Summer administrative and operational activities
Evaluate current policy and make recommendations for positive change. Provide advocacy for and support the needs of the auxiliary program staff
Assist the Human Resources Director, TAAP Director, Think Summer Director, and the academic department chairs with coordination of faculty searches and recruitment efforts
Receive staff resumes from prospective candidates and coordinate interviews
Managing the staffing process to include retention and recruitment of summer staff
Serve as the point of contact for staffing issues such as payroll, expenses, policy questions, scheduling, and substitutes while the summer session is live and for auxiliary programs
Oversee and execute event planning for Think Summer, including orientations, open house, and faculty/staff appreciation events
Will support the HR team with special projects
Work closely with the HR department on campus wide initiatives and assignments
Support the school and its mission, always maintaining a high degree of professionalism
Attend team meetings as necessary
Assist the CFO with management of inbound and outbound correspondence
Act as point of contact for scheduling and management of the CFO’s calendar
Assist the CFO with filing as needed
Check the CFO and HR mail daily
Provide programming support for the Summer Session
Support Think Summer during the program registration cycle
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a business discipline is required
Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality
Writing, editing, and proofreading skills
Ability to effectively prioritize and plan work activities to use time efficiently
Ability to be organized, accurate, thorough, and to monitor work for quality
Knowledge of database management systems and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Outlook, Excel, and Word and Google Suite
Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects with frequent interruptions
Ability to problem solve, being able to identify issues and resolve problems in a timely manner
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
A valid driver's license is required
Preferred
1-3 years of experience is preferred, particularly in an HR setting
