Electronic Technical Specialist II
The Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) is looking for a skilled and motivated individual to join our team in Region One. As an Electronic Technical Specialist II, you will play a vital role in installing, repairing, and maintaining the electronic equipment that keeps our roads safe.

Responsibilities
Install and repair Variable Message Signs (VMS), Electronic signs, CCTV cameras and radar detection systems
Work on solar-powered systems, battery backups, two-way radios, and modem communication
Respond to reports of broken equipment and fix issues on-site
Ensure all traffic and intelligent systems meet safety regulations and standards
Drive and operate a bucket truck and use specialized calibration tools
Participate in an on-call rotation for night and weekend emergency repairs
Qualification
Required
You must live within Davis, Weber, Morgan, Cache or Box Elder County
At least two years of professional electrical/electronics work experience or electronics education (or a combination of both)
Must hold International Municipal Signal Association (IMSA) Level I and II certifications OR a Journeyman Electrician License
Familiarity with electrical systems, traffic signal technology, and computer systems
Preferred
A Journeyman Electrician license
An Associate's degree (or higher) in electronics or electrical technology
Four or more years of combined education and professional experience
