This role plays a critical part in ensuring clean data, accurate invoicing, and proper revenue recognition while collaborating with operations, finance, and internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities
Audit and reconcile sales orders in NetSuite to ensure data integrity, financial accuracy, and proper revenue recognition prior to invoice generation
Compile, review, and verify vendor invoices, job costing documentation, and labor hours to support accurate accounts receivable and billing processes
Perform cost analysis and validate billing rates against approved fee schedules
Apply appropriate margin calculations and billing structures for client invoicing
Coordinate closely with operations and finance teams to resolve discrepancies and ensure timely, accurate billing
Support order-to-cash processes, including invoice preparation and follow-up as needed
Maintain accurate documentation and audit-ready records related to billing and revenue
Utilize ERP and accounting systems to research transactions, track job costs, and support reporting needs
Qualification
Required
2+ years of experience in accounts receivable, billing, or order-to-cash processes
Working knowledge of accounting principles, including revenue recognition, job costing, and margin analysis
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
Advanced Excel skills for data analysis, reconciliation, and reporting
Demonstrated accuracy, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills
Ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and work cross-functionally
Ability to commute to Tyler, TX 75703
Ability to relocate to Tyler, TX 75703 before starting work
Preferred
Background in job costing, project billing, or accounting within a service or project-based environment strongly preferred
Experience with NetSuite or a similar ERP system highly valued
