Responsibilities

With limited guidance, serves as product manager over large, complex efforts for one or multiple agile team(s) following industry standards and best practices (e.g., Agile, DevOps, ITIL). Serves to align and organize Product Owners and cross-functional teams throughout the product lifecycle to identify and deliver solutions that customers find valuable and engaging. Leads communication of portfolio and product updates to managers and stakeholders, creating buy-in on product vision and ensuring strategic alignment. Articulates core value proposition of the solution, identifying individual feature benefits to support value proposition fulfillment. Represent product value proposition and business viability to inform and influences senior-level support for fulfilling product vision. Manages and serves as the primary point of contact (POC) for supporting budget activities aligned to a product. With limited guidance, engages in Agile resource planning and management to monitor resource utilization, forecast future resource needs, and support business growth
Acts as the primary point of intake for product improvements and requirements from internal stakeholders and customers. Leads collaboration with clients and stakeholders to discuss needs, research and collect information about business operations, and define requirements and use cases. Possesses advanced expert knowledge of the client's strategies, functions, issues, and relationships that drive day-to-day operations, decisions, and workforce dynamics. Applies this knowledge to better meet the client's business needs and requirements. Leads coordination with product team members to translate roadmap into requirements to ensure successful delivery across the product life cycle. Coaches others on identifying user research and leveraging secondary research to better understand customer needs
Produces business and technology roadmaps and implementation plans based upon a current vs. future state perspective for the collection of products for which they are responsible. Oversees multiple projects by integrating dependent schedules and deliverables and related activities (e.g., benefits management, life cycle management, and program governance). Defines, implements, and tracks measurable individual and team objectives that are aligned with business and organizational goals, using a data-driven approach to iterate on delivery plans and roadmaps based on key metrics captured
Crafts product strategy that communicates and evangelizes the value of the product or platform across the broader organization. Identifies key opportunities for improvement based on industry best practices and trends, develops technical or process enhancements to increase operational efficiencies, or reduce costs associated with the use of internal tools. Develops strategies to improve performance of data through advice on technology selection; data structure or layout; architectural choices; or other best practices
Leads coordination with business relations, delivery team leads, and Organizational Leaders to ensure strategic alignment with product goals and requirements to help them understand how business and technology tradeoffs influence strategy. Leads efforts to contribute to the strategic direction of the Division by identifying gaps between the current and desired end-states by researching best practices and assessing trade-offs among options
Establish and maintain relationships with key business and technology stakeholders to generate agreement, set priorities, and drive alignment. Serves as the primary point of contact for customers, staff, product team members, product sponsors and/or stakeholders to manage expectations, communicate or gather product information, and/or ensure customer satisfaction. Expert at explaining processes and concepts to technical and non-technical audiences. Represents unit, branch, or division in stakeholder meetings, coordinates with stakeholders to resolve questions, and participates on task forces and committees, both internal and external to the Board. Supervises the development of communication strategies, plans and messages for various audiences. Ensure customer-driven design, consider user pain points, and leverage market and industry knowledge to deliver a well-positioned product
Keeps abreast of cutting-edge evolving information and business trends and technologies in areas relevant to division or Board needs and communicates the results of these activities to others. Assesses current and future requirements and proactively plans for and implements new technology and business adoption, transformation, consolidation, and/or incremental improvements. Possesses expert knowledge of technology business options available in the market and skilled at assessing their viability for meeting Division and/or Board needs

Required

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
6 years of experience
Demonstrated knowledge and competence in artificial intelligence technologies and enterprise AI systems, achieved by completion of a degree(s) with the associated minimum years of related experience
Deep technical experience in modern AI/ML capabilities including prototyping and deploying LLMs, generative AI, and emerging AI systems (FR-28: expert-level knowledge of agentic AI, multimodal systems, reasoning models); understanding of AI deployment architectures and implementation techniques; hands-on experience with programming, data science, machine learning, NLP, and AI integration with analytics and business operations; proven ability to evaluate emerging AI capabilities
Demonstrated expertise in product management and delivery using established methodologies for AI products, platforms, or research initiatives including roadmap development, cross-functional alignment, and translating business needs into technical requirements; demonstrated ability managing complex initiatives with data-driven prioritization and measurable outcomes; experience guiding cross-functional teams and product owners without formal supervisory authority (FR-28: deep understanding of portfolio development, program governance, and organizational maturity)
Strategic thinking and planning capabilities with ability to synthesize complex information, apply systems thinking to enterprise challenges, and develop long-term AI strategies with actionable short- and medium-term execution (FR-28: proven ability to advise senior leadership on AI strategic direction and innovation decisions)
Exceptional communication and stakeholder management with proven ability to articulate AI's value and potential to technical and non-technical audiences at all levels; clear, concise verbal and written communication; proven ability building organizational buy-in and influencing without authority
AI governance and risk management knowledge including compliance frameworks, responsible AI practices, and model evaluation; understanding of risk management in complex contexts; stays current on AI trends and emerging capabilities
Ability to work independently on complex assignments and collaborate effectively across technical and business teams

Preferred

Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP), enterprise AI platforms (e.g., Domino, Databricks), and infrastructure management
Vendor management including acquisitions, contract management, and relationship management
Platform and infrastructure knowledge including DevOps, deployment pipelines, and data lifecycle management
Experience working on a program using Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
Experience working with Gitlab and Jira tools for product and project management
Experience in regulated environments (government, financial services, or similar)
Experience coordinating technical teams (FR-28: 15-20+ staff across workstreams)
