Responsibilities
Assist in the planning, designing, and execution phases of engineering projects
Conduct site visits to gather data, assess conditions, and provide technical input
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure designs meet project requirements and regulatory standards
Resolve technical issues and challenges encountered during construction phases
Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and calculations using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D)
Review and interpret engineering plans, sketches, and layouts
Incorporate feedback and revisions to ensure accuracy and completeness of design documents
Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate project progress
Monitor project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure objectives are met
Conduct inspections and quality control checks to verify compliance with design specifications and standards
Adherence to safety protocols and regulatory requirements
Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation related to project activities
Prepare progress reports and presentations for project meetings and stakeholders
Accurately forecast project timelines and deliver on commitments
Proactively identify and address potential roadblocks to ensure timely completion
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, related field, or foreign degree equivalent
Three (3) years of progressively responsible experience managing public infrastructure projects and performing construction plan reviews
At least two of these years must include experience with on-site, in-field construction coordination
Registered Accessibility Specialist Certification (RAS)
