New Millennium is a company within the Vulcan Steel Products division, seeking an Inside Sales Representative to support sales operations. The role involves inputting bids, preparing reports, coordinating with teams, and managing assigned accounts to enhance productivity and ensure continuity of sales operations.

Responsibilities

Receive bid requests from outside sales reps, input project details into the CRM software, review blueprints, and schedule estimates to be completed

Conduct brief reviews of quotes, then forward them to sales team for distribution to customers

Work with the outside sales team for lead generation

Ensuring continuity of sales operations by covering for RSM’s during vacations or other absences and assisting with open territories as required

Assist with contract receipt, review and filing

Perform an initial assessment of orders to verify the presence and accuracy of all required information and documents

Assuming primary responsibility for the management of several key accounts

Communicate on a regular basis with Market Manager

Proficient computer skills (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)

Ability to manage and monitor the bid process daily

Effective communication both in written and verbal form

Ability to travel occasionally to see customers and outside sales reps

Capable of handling difficult customers with professionalism

Willingness to relocate if needed and have the ambition to advance into a Regional Sales Manager position

Preferred

4 Year College Degree in Applicable Field
