Responsibilities
Own and execute the wholesale sales strategy to drive sustainable revenue growth and market expansion
Identify and develop new national, regional, and specialty retail accounts
Strengthen and grow existing key accounts through strategic assortment planning, pricing, and promotions
Lead annual and seasonal sales planning, forecasting, and budgeting
Manage senior-level relationships with key retailers, distributors, and strategic partners
Lead line reviews, JBP conversations, and category expansion initiatives
Partner with retailers to optimize merchandising, sell-through, and replenishment
Lead, coach, and manage a team of 4 to 6 salespeople, setting clear KPIs and performance expectations
Recruit, onboard, and develop sales talent as the business scales
Foster a collaborative, accountable, and results-driven sales culture
Partner closely with Marketing, Product Development, Operations, and Finance to ensure alignment on launches, inventory, and go-to-market strategy
Provide market feedback to inform product innovation, packaging, and pricing decisions
Ensure operational excellence across order management, forecasting, and inventory flow
Track and analyze sales performance, retail productivity, and profitability
Use data to inform decision-making, identify opportunities, and mitigate risk
Deliver regular sales updates and insights to executive leadership
Qualification
Required
10+ years of wholesale sales experience in beauty, personal care, kids, or CPG
Proven success scaling wholesale revenue and managing key retail accounts
Prior experience leading and developing sales teams
Strong existing relationships with national and specialty retailers preferred
Strategic thinker with a hands-on, roll-up-your-sleeves leadership style
Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
Experience working in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment
Preferred
Experience in children's, tween, or family-focused brands
Background in both emerging and established brands
Experience working with clean, safe, or dermatologist-tested beauty products
