Responsibilities
To support the Subassembly Manufacturing Assembly Resource and Test Lab (SMART Lab) assembling and testing propulsion systems
Working lab priority work orders as determined by leadership
Mechanically and electrically assemble and test propulsion thrusters
Mechanically and electrically assemble propulsion subsystems
Qualification
Required
U.S. Citizenship required
High school degree or equivalent and 7 years' related experience
Basic knowledge of hand-tool use and safety
Mechanical and electrical precision assembly
Understanding drawings, work orders, and test procedures
Preferred
Orbital welding
Hand TIG welding
Pneumatic and Vacuum set up and test
Electrical functional set up and test
Sheet metal fabrication
