Talent Acquisition Specialist

Responsibilities

Lead full-cycle recruiting for assigned roles, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer negotiation
Educate hiring managers on HR processes, legal considerations, and best practices to ensure compliance and consistency
Prepare and post job descriptions across appropriate platforms
Create interview questionnaires tailored to each role, including niche positions when applicable
Conduct phone screens and guide candidates through the interview process
Coordinate and schedule interviews, assessments, and candidate communications
Serve as the primary point of contact for candidates and hiring managers during the selection process
Facilitate the offer process, including compensation recommendations, offer extension, background checks and reference verifications
Maintain accurate records in HRIS and applicant tracking systems
Partner closely with HR team members throughout the hiring process to ensure alignment with organizational goals and pay structures
Educate hiring managers on recruiting processes, legal considerations, and compliant practices
Incorporate inclusive hiring practices that foster a welcoming environment for all candidates
Organize and manage college collaboration efforts, including booth setup and event logistics
Represent Bell Bank at career fairs, campus events, and other recruiting activities, speaking confidently to students and prospective candidates about career opportunities
Track recruitment metrics and provide insights to support workforce planning and decision-making
Stay current on recruiting trends, tools, and compliance requirements, and integrate best practices into daily work
Provide input on new department procedures and develop process documents after processes have been finalized
Perform audits and conduct research as needed to ensure accuracy and support recruitment activities
Know by name and face as many customers and employees as possible, calling them by name as often as possible

Conduct activities consistent with established Bell Bank policies, procedures and systems, the Bell Bank Employee Conduct policies, the Bank Secrecy Act and all applicable state and federal laws and regulations

Required

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
2-4 years of full-cycle recruiting experience, preferably in the financial industry
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships across all levels
Knowledge of HR processes, employment law, and recruiting best practices
Proficiency in applicant tracking systems and HRIS; experience with data-driven recruiting metrics
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Ability to travel up to 5% for career fairs, campus events, and other HR/recruiting activities

Preferred

HR certification such as SHRM-CP or HCRI-PHR
