Start in 2026 SummerPhiladelphia Gas Works (PGW) is the largest municipally-owned gas utility in the nation, supplying gas service in the City of Philadelphia to over 500,000 customers. The PGW Internship Program is designed for students currently enrolled FULL-TIME at an accredited college or university, where they will work with Senior Staff Engineers to learn about engineering projects.

Responsibilities
This intern will work with Senior Staff Engineers to learn the business processes, procedures, practices and regulations associated with coordination and performance of all aspects of engineering projects
Concept, design, development, drawings, specifications, project schedules, budget estimates, cost control, code compliance, etc
The incumbent assists in various projects as directed to gain hands on knowledge
Qualification
Required
Be a full-time student enrolled in an accredited university or college
Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
Proficiency in MS Office Suite
Knowledge of general engineering principles
Must be clean shaven at all times to comply with PGW's Respirator Readiness Policy
Steel toe safety boots required (no sneaker type)
