Confidential company is an award-winning indoor swim school in Irving, TX, seeking a passionate leader to oversee their Swim Academy. The role involves managing operations, staff development, and ensuring a safe and engaging environment for children and families.

Responsibilities
Oversee the safe, clean, and professional upkeep of the facility, pool, and all water safety standards in alignment with our mission
Proactively plan seasonal membership cycles (e.g., peak summer, slower winter) and adjust programming, schedules, and staffing accordingly
Drive lead generation and conversion through local outreach, referrals, and digital channels, including social media content and email campaigns
Hire, onboard, train, coach, and schedule staff, building a high-performing team of instructors, front‑desk, and support staff
Deliver exceptional customer experiences by calmly, positively, and proactively resolving issues and communicating clearly with families
Perform daily operations, including teaching swim lessons, deck management, customer engagement, and opening/closing duties as needed
Evaluate student progress using our teaching curriculum and customer service processes through hands‑on, front‑line work
Create, manage, and optimize class and employee schedules to maximize capacity, quality of instruction, and business performance
Lead regular team meetings, provide feedback and recognition, and drive employee engagement and retention
Develop team members at various stages of their professional journey, including those new to the workforce or aquatics
Qualification
Required
1–2 years of management and facility/operations management experience, ideally in a service, education, sports, or childcare environment
Proven track record reporting to Owners while leading, motivating, and empowering a skilled, productive team
A genuine love for teaching and working with children and families
Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to recognize issues and resolve them on the spot
Excellent, natural customer service skills and a “yes‑first” mindset when supporting families
Goal‑oriented mindset with the ability to set clear objectives, build action plans, and follow through to results
Preferred
Undergraduate degree preferred; 3+ years of relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
Typically 3+ years teaching swimming and 1+ year in aquatic or swim school management
Lifeguarding, CPR/First Aid, and Water Safety Instructor (WSI) or equivalent; candidates without these must be willing to obtain them with company support
