Inside Sales Specialist

ECCO Equipment Controls Company is a privately owned national specialty master distributor of natural gas measurement products and solutions. They are seeking an experienced Inside Sales Specialist who will effectively communicate with customers, manage orders, and provide technical assistance while thriving in a team environment.

Responsibilities

Effectively communicate with customers and coworkers
Establish and maintain professional relationships with customers, suppliers, and co-workers
Demonstrate methods of using products and resolving customer queries by assisting customers with sizing and product selection
Understand and anticipate the needs and expectations of each customer and provide relevant alternatives or solutions as needed
Utilize CRM software to handle incoming customer inquiries, generate price quotations, enter sales orders, process change orders, check stock status, provide order acknowledgements, and process cancellations proficiently and efficiently
Manage order schedules, partial shipments, and order adjustments
Verify customer credit status prior to processing orders
Validate and update customer information using customer database
Contact vendors for current pricing, availability, lead times, and delivery schedules
Consult with supervisor and other personnel to resolve and/or escalate suggestions and complaints, such as equipment performance, output quality, warranties, and work schedules
Generate and manage weekly sale transaction reports in sales tool and report key findings to management team
Supply technical assistance/troubleshooting for product offering
Possess the ability to learn and understand the natural gas supply chain
Perform other duties as assigned

Required

Experience working with Eclipse or similar ERP is a plus
Proficient computer skills include MS Office 365 Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Adobe, and CRM software
Strong verbal and written communication skills with a high level of confidence
Excellent organization and time management skills
Creative thinkers that can identify issues and provide solutions to critical problems
Should have the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage conflicts in the business
Target oriented and actively involved in meeting the company's strategic goals
Must foster and believe in teamwork
High school diploma or equivalent required

Preferred

Previous inside sales experience selling industrial-grade equipment preferred
Four-year, technical degree, or equivalent work experience in relevant field is a plus
General mechanical aptitude preferred
