Responsibilities
Work independently and exercise sound problem-solving skills
Apply strong mathematical skills in daily tasks
Establish, update, and maintain accurate records and reports
Generate monthly reports and perform detailed analysis
Manage and maintain organized files and documentation
Perform additional duties as assigned
Adhere to all NCDOT workplace and safety policies
Qualification
Required
High school or General Educational Development (GED) diploma and one year of administrative experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Preferred
Possession of a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) issued by the Transportation Security Administration (TSA)
Considerable knowledge of office procedures, methods and practices
Skill in using Windows 7 (or greater), Microsoft Office (MS Word, Excel, Outlook) and Internet Explorer
Experience in gathering and giving information and instructions
Skill in working with people with courtesy and tact, utilizing customer service skills
