Customer Support Representative- IA or PA- Hybrid

Yoh, A Day & Zimmermann Company is seeking a Customer Support Representative for a 7-month contract opportunity in the financial industry. The role involves providing excellent customer service through handling inquiries, processing payments, and troubleshooting issues for clients.

Responsibilities

Support customers through inbound phone calls, emails, and chat, delivering a positive and professional experience
Answer questions related to loans, payments, interest rates, past?due balances, and end?of?lease details
Process phone payments and respond to payment, payoff, and buyout quote requests
Troubleshoot customer issues, identify root causes, and provide timely, accurate resolutions
Create, manage, and document customer cases/tickets with clear and thorough notes
Generate and provide customer documents such as invoices, contracts, amortization schedules, and bills of sale
Maintain and update customer account information, including billing, contact, and payment details
Assist customers with basic technical support, including password resets, login help, and portal navigation
Partner with internal teams to resolve more complex customer issues
Meet performance expectations related to call volume, case handling, accuracy, and documentation quality

Required

HS Diploma/GED required, College preferred
Customer-focused professional with 0–2 years of customer service experience, ideally in a call center or service-oriented environment
Comfortable working in a high-volume inbound setting (40–60 calls per day)
Strong verbal and written communication skills with a consultative, empathetic approach
Able to build rapport and confidently handle challenging customer interactions
Detail-oriented with strong multitasking and documentation skills
Proficient with Microsoft Office

Preferred

Salesforce Service Cloud experience strongly preferred; any Salesforce experience is a plus
Experience in financial services, leasing, insurance, or service industries is preferred
Adaptable, reliable team player with proven longevity in past roles
