Responsibilities

Drive the architectural vision and lead the design of complex, scalable, and reliable systems and features critical to gUP's support platforms and operational tools

Address the most challenging technical problems, often with ambiguous requirements, delivering innovative and robust solutions that provide significant business value

Lead the implementation and delivery of large-scale, multi-faceted engineering projects, ensuring high standards of code quality, testing, and operational excellence

Provide technical leadership and influence across multiple teams; collaborate effectively with cross-functional partners to align on technical strategy and direction

Mentor other engineers, foster a culture of technical excellence, and promote best practices in software development, system design, and reliability

Required

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience

8 years of experience in software development

3 years of experience with software design and architecture

Preferred

Master's degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field

8 years of experience with data structures and algorithms

3 years of experience in a technical leadership role leading project teams and setting technical direction

3 years of experience working in a complex, matrixed organization involving cross-functional, or cross-business projects
