Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports aligned with business requirements
Build and optimize semantic models using Power BI, DAX, and SQL
Work extensively with Azure BI services, including:
Azure Data Factory
Azure Synapse Analytics
Azure SQL / Azure Data Lake Storage
Develop and manage analytics solutions using Microsoft Fabric, including:
Lakehouse
Data Pipelines
Dataflows Gen2
Fabric Warehouses
Implement end-to-end data pipelines from source systems to reporting layers
Ensure data accuracy, performance optimization, and security (RLS, sensitivity labels)
Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into analytical solutions
Implement best practices for governance, version control, and deployment pipelines
Monitor and troubleshoot data refresh, performance, and capacity issues
Qualification
Required
6+ years of experience as a Power BI Developer / BI Engineer
Strong hands-on experience with Power BI Desktop & Power BI Service
DAX, Power Query (M)
SQL (T-SQL preferred)
Practical experience with Azure BI ecosystem
Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric (mandatory)
Experience in building enterprise-scale BI solutions
Strong understanding of data modeling (star/snowflake schemas)
Knowledge of data security, RLS, and compliance best practices
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Ability to communicate insights to non-technical stakeholders
Experience working in agile / cross-functional teams
Preferred
Experience with CI/CD for Power BI (Azure DevOps, Git integration)
Exposure to Real-Time Analytics / Event Streams in Fabric
Knowledge of Python or Spark (Fabric notebooks)
Microsoft certifications (Power BI, Azure Data Engineer, Fabric Analytics Engineer)
