Team Lead, Warehouse - 1st Shift

Responsibilities
Direct and coordinate warehouse activities, including picking, packing, shipping, and receiving, to ensure optimal workflow and productivity
Prioritize and assign tasks to meet production schedules and customer requirements
Train, mentor, and coach team members on warehouse procedures, safety protocols, and company policies
Monitor adherence to standard operating procedures, ensuring accuracy in documentation, inventory, and transactions
Utilize ERP systems for material movement, scheduling, and shipping; monitor inventory accuracy via ERP and Power BI dashboards
Partner with production and other departments to ensure timely order fulfillment and operational alignment
Conduct cycle counts and audits to maintain inventory integrity
Identify process inefficiencies and implement best practices to enhance productivity and reduce costs
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations; maintain equipment functionality and initiate work orders as needed
Address team issues promptly through coaching and escalation when necessary
Perform additional tasks as assigned to support warehouse operations
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or equivalent required, associate degree a plus
5+ years of warehouse experience; 1-year leading team preferred
Ability to obtain forklift certification
Proficiency in warehouse operations and equipment handling
ERP system experience with strong data navigation skills
Strong decision-making and conflict management abilities
Effective time management and ability to meet strict deadlines
Leadership capability to guide and influence team performance
Physical ability for repetitive tasks, including standing and lifting
Flexible schedule availability (early mornings, evenings, weekends)
Preferred
1-year leading team preferred
Lean 5S certification preferred
