Associate, Alternatives Data & Strategy

Responsibilities

Lead Alts Data Initiatives: Project manage data integration efforts with GLASFunds and other third-party providers to streamline and enhance Alternatives data flows
Maintain Alts Dashboards: Track and report on commitments and NAVs across Alternative Investments platforms and funds
Ensure Data Quality: Conduct regular audits and collaborate with local offices to validate and improve the accuracy and completeness of Alternatives data
Support Integrations: Assist in the design and implementation of new data integrations to support the evolving needs of the Alternatives platform
Drive Reporting Excellence: Develop and maintain dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights into Alternatives investments and performance
Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner with investment, operations, and technology teams to align data initiatives with business goals
Document Data Standards: Maintain clear documentation of data sources, models, and pipelines related to Alternatives reporting

Required

Proficiency in data analytics tools such as SQL, DBT, Python, Tableau, and Excel
Experience working with structured and unstructured data, especially in financial services or investment contexts
Ability to manage end-to-end analytics projects, from requirements gathering to delivery
Strong data visualization and storytelling skills to support decision-making
Experience working with disparate data sources and ensuring data integrity
Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g., Finance, Economics, Statistics, Computer Science)
1–3+ years of experience in data analytics, reporting, or investment operations roles, with a preference in Wealth or Asset Management
Must be 18 years of age or older
Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
Must be willing to execute Corient's Employee Agreement or Confidentiality and Non-Disclosure Agreement

Preferred

Experience with investment data, especially Alternatives (e.g., private equity, hedge funds, real assets)
Familiarity with Databricks, Salesforce, Addepar, and/or iCapital platforms
