Responsibilities
Build and maintain relationships with general contractors, property managers, developers, and facility managers to identify fence, gate, and access control opportunities
Scour public bid databases and online plan rooms to identify fencing, gate, and access control opportunities
Review plan documents and specifications to prepare takeoff on the scope of work
Estimate projects using construction plans, software, and industry portal tools
Ensure project data is accurately entered and tracked in our CRM software
Work closely with internal resources, including procurement, production, and senior management at headquarters and our other locations
Communicate with general contractors, sub-trades, and team members to track the progress of projects, answer project questions, and provide change orders
Qualification
Required
College degree or equivalent work experience in fencing, construction estimating, or project management
Knowledge of public bid databases such as ConstructConnect
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently and with team members
Ability to multi-task and work on multiple jobs while continuing to look for new opportunities
