This role involves core accounting responsibilities as well as support for HR and general office operations, playing a key role in the monthly close process and financial reporting.

Responsibilities
Assist with month-end close, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis
Manage accounts payable, including invoice processing, vendor setup, coding, and payment scheduling
Support accounts receivable functions, including customer billing, collections follow-up, and cash application
Maintain accurate and organized financial records in accordance with company policies
Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
Support implementation and optimization of financial systems, workflows, and internal controls
Partner with the Director of Finance on ad hoc analyses, audits, budgeting, and reporting needs
Assist the Chief People Officer with employee onboarding documentation, benefit administration tasks, and HR file maintenance
Help coordinate employee communications, policy updates, and compliance initiatives
Support office operations including vendor coordination, supply management, and event logistics
Provide general administrative support across People Operations and Finance as needed
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
1–2 years of accounting experience
Strong Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, formulas)
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism and confidentiality
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work efficiently in a primarily in-office role
Preferred
Experience with NetSuite, HubSpot, Rippling, or similar financial/HR systems
Prior exposure to month-end close processes or full-cycle AP/AR
Experience in a high-growth or multi-departmental environment
Active or in-process CPA license (role qualifies for relevant CPA work experience under an active CPA)
