Responsibilities
Support multiple attorneys in federal and state litigation matters
Open cases, conduct conflict checks, manage billing, records, and deadlines
Calculate and track court deadlines; schedule hearings and appointments
Draft, proofread, and file pleadings and correspondence
Manage electronic and paper case files
Track expenses and process reimbursements and payments
Assist with billing narratives, edits, and delivery
Handle incoming/outgoing mail, calls, and emails
Maintain regular, punctual in-office attendance
Qualification
Required
Minimum 5 years of defense litigation legal assistant experience
Strong knowledge of Federal and State court rules and procedures
Experience supporting multiple attorneys in a fast-paced environment
Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking skills
High attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
Recent or Current 2-3 years of Law Firm experience is required
Preferred
Knowledge of iManage, SmartTime, and Aderant preferred
