Responsibilities
Lead mechanical and mechanical-controls design efforts, including equipment selection, specifications, layouts, and system integration
Be able to conceptualize systems and communicate these plans to all kinds of personnel
Develop scope documents, obtain engineering and construction bids, write ACT requests, oversee construction, schedule and coordinate system outages, and support the start-up operation of projects
You will develop project budgets and schedules to drive the completion of the project within the constraints of both
Track project spending, communicate spending trends to the appropriate people in the organization and make adjustments throughout the project to stay within authorization amounts
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in engineering (mechanical or chemical) or equivalent engineering degree required
5+ years of project / capital engineering experience, preferably in chemical or resin manufacturing environment
Mechanical control engineering experience
Excellent human relations skills and some labor relations knowledge; outstanding skill in communicating plans to technical & non-technical personnel
Possess problem solving skills and can conceptualize new systems or modifications to existing systems
