Technical Information Specialist (TIS)
Zimmerman Associates, Inc. is seeking a Technical Information Specialist (TIS) to support their project in College Park, MD. This role focuses on providing exceptional customer service in a call center environment by responding to inquiries and resolving requests through a helpdesk system.

Responsibilities
Handle phone calls and emails from internal and external stakeholders and the public
Respond to and diagnose inquiries/issues through discussion with stakeholders
Open, track, and resolve helpdesk tickets, ensuring proper documentation and solution codes
Escalate complex issues to senior staff or supervisors as needed
Perform quality control and quality assurance tasks
Gather statistics, compile reports, and contribute to process improvement activities
Conduct research to resolve pending issues and obtain missing information
Qualification
Required
Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent
Three (3) years of office experience, preferably in records management, call center, or helpdesk support
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to provide professional customer service in a call center environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other standard office applications
Ability to comply with helpdesk and government agency policies and procedures
Ability to obtain a Public Trust Security Clearance (current clearance preferred)
