Responsibilities
Manage accounts and communicate with clients to coordinate design items in order to provide a design that will meet the client’s needs and provide attention to quality and service that will fall within the project’s schedule and budget
This includes verbal and written (emails, memo’s, letter’s, etc) communication
Attend meetings with clients, contractors and other consultants for coordination purposes and visit job sites in order to obtain information on existing systems in order to base the design parameters and convey information to design team
Coordinate internally, with project coordinator, other project managers, and other design staff by transmitting the client coordination items to them in order for everyone to know their scope of work, deadlines, and other project aspects
Manage the work distributed to the electrical designers/drafters
Electrical design of multi-family and commercial spaces: including developing panel schedules, calculating the service loads, calculating meter centers and switch gear capacity, performing voltage drop calculations, laying out fire alarm devices, coordinating with the clients lighting and low-voltage consultant, determining generator sizes based on client needs
